As you may know, Guitar Hero is a hot commodity. Most local retailers are sold out of the game bundle, game, and guitar controller. The Xbox 360 versions appear to be the hard to find items.

Nevertheless, I just bought the Guitar controller for Xbox 360 at Wal-mart. The retailer has the game and guitar controller for Ps2, Ps3, and Xbox 360 in stock. The Rock Band bundle for Ps2 is in stock too.

If you are looking for either the games or controllers for the top consoles, go to Wal-mart. EB Games expects Xbox 360 stock in mid-February, are you kidding? RedOctane is out of stock of Guitar Hero III, 2-player bundles, and controllers.

Xbox Live is up and running, but users may still experience issues dependent on Xbox Live billing services availability. I do not have a need to access their billing services, so I am back online!

After numerous attempts to log into Xbox Live, a Google search reveals that others are experiencing the same issues. The Xbox Live Status posted on the Xbox.com site reads as follows:

“Users may experience intermittent issues when attempting to connect to Xbox Live. Our engineers are continuing to investigate and are working to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.” Nice!

I have read many negative posts about BroGame and their service. I cannot discount what others are posting about their experiences with BroGame, but I would like to add that I just completed my third transaction with no issues.

The LivePerson chat representatives have always been very helpful and stayed online with me until the Gil was delivered to each character. I appreciate that they call to confirm the details of each transaction too.

The only negative may be that BroGame does not appear to offer discounts to repeat customers. The LivePerson representative I chatted with a few days ago told me that he would ask his manager and that they may offer discounts in the future.
